ADB Grant to Boost Maldives’ Booster and Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccination Program

A $10 million grant from the Asian Development Bank’s Asia Pacific Vaccine Access Facility will help Maldives scale up the continuity of its vaccination program, the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI), for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Bangladesh and India Inaugurate Restored Railway Link, Agree to Soon Operationalize the BBIN MVA

The virtual summit held by Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and India Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed their bilateral relationship amid the challenges brought on by COVID-19. They also jointly inaugurated the newly restored railway link between Haldibari (India) and Chilahati (Bangladesh), and agreed to soon operationalize the Bangladesh-Bhutan-India-Nepal (BBIN) Motor Vehicles Agreement (MVA).
