Watch: Enhanced Road Connectivity Creates Opportunities in Nepal

The Subregional Transport Enhancement Project creates economic opportunities by providing access to social services. The project, committed in 2011, has expanded roads and gave rural communities access to one of Nepal's major trade corridors.

The project also modernized systems for customs clearance in Nepal, making procedures simpler and more transparent.
