India, Nepal Discuss Development of Hydropower, Enhancement of Trade

During her visit to India, Ms. Arzu Rana Deuba, Foreign Minister of the Government of Nepal, engaged in crucial discussions with Mr. S Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister of the Government of India. Their discussions focused primarily on the joint development of hydropower and enhanced trade relations. Ms. Deuba highlighted that their discussions took stock of bilateral ties, discussing ongoing engagements across sectors and identifying avenues for enhancing people-to-people and diplomatic exchanges. She expressed her appreciation for India's Neighborhood First Policy and reiterated Nepal's continued commitment to its relations with India. 

Ms. Deuba's visit coinciding with her participation in the Raisina Dialogue, a platform for geopolitical and geo-economic discussions.
