Workshop on Proposed SAARC Development Fund
This small-scale technical assistance enhanced the awareness of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) operations, governance, and sustainability of development in finance instruments. The workshop provided a venue for participants to analyze options for structure, operating modalities, funding mechanisms, and governance of the SAARC Development Fund. It also strengthened regional cooperation, shared international best practices, and supported socio-cultural and economic development in South Asia.
