
Regional: City Resilience, Affordable Housing, Sustainable Tourism, and Inclusive Economic Growth for Livable Cities
The regional technical assistance (TA) will support India and Nepal for sustainable tourism development and affordable housing to contribute to the development of livable cities that are green, climate resilient, inclusive, smart and competitive. The TA will support policy advice, capacity building, and project preparation in several states/cities of India and Nepal by applying innovative and integrated solutions. The TA will support regional cooperation through (i) regional tourism development in SASEC countries; (ii) protection of shared cultural heritage assets; and (iii) improvement of infrastructure and services in border and corridor towns that serve as nodes and centers for regional and international tourism, particularly along the Buddhist Circuit Tourism in India and Nepal.
