SASEC Electricity Transmission and Distribution Strengthening Project
This will support Nepal in improving the reliability and sustainability of its electricity supply and its cross-border electricity-trading activities. The project will finance various high-priority electricity grid transmission and distribution-strengthening investments. The project will be aligned with the following impacts: (i) reliable and efficient electricity for all achieved; (ii) energy trade between SASEC countries increased (SASEC Operational Plan Update, 2016–2025).
