Regional: SASEC Cross-Border Power Trade Development
The technical assistance expands on the prior activities to develop a comprehensive long term regional transmission plan for the SASEC region to align generation and transmission developments of the member states. The technical assistance will also examine the optimal development of electricity generation capacity in the region as an input to the regional transmission master plan development. Further, this technical assistance intends to build capacity on cross-border power trade by supporting the related activities including those of the SASEC Electricity Transmission Utility Forum, which will be formally established.
