BIMSTEC Meeting Emphasizes Transport Connectivity Master Plan

The Second Meeting of the BIMSTEC Transport Connectivity Working Group was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 13-14 November 2017 to discuss the BIMSTEC Master Plan on Transport Connectivity. The Master Plan is envisaged to provide an overarching framework for BIMSTEC in enhancing transport connectivity among its member countries.

Participants include delegations from the seven BIMSTEC member countries. Mr. Piyush Srivastava, Joint Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, chaired the meeting.
