India, Nepal, Express Satisfaction over Completed Projects in 11th Lines of Credit Review Meeting

4 December 2025

The Governments of India and Nepal held their 11th Lines of Credit Review Meeting in New Delhi, India, on 4 December 2025. Officials from both sides assessed the progress of ongoing projects financed by India’s Lines of Credit. They expressed satisfaction with recently completed initiatives and discussed how to further streamline procedures to accelerate project implementation, reflecting a shared commitment to more efficient delivery.

India in November handed over a 70‑meter modular bridge and specialized launching tools to Nepal for installation in Ramechhap (Nepal). Connectivity to the town was disrupted by severe rains in October. India made a commitment to provide ten of these bridges worth over NPR 73 crore on a grant basis to support Nepal’s post-disaster reconstruction and infrastructure resilience. Nepal is a priority partner under India’s ‘Neighborhood First’ policy.
