The Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Sri Lanka National Chamber of Exporters have signed an agreement to strengthen direct cooperation between entrepreneurs of both countries through regular exchange of business delegations. The memorandum seeks to expand bilateral trade and investment, identify new industrial opportunities, and promote joint ventures, while facilitating easier business interactions through meetings, trade fairs, and forums. The collaboration also includes a commitment from the Nepal Chamber of Commerce to study Sri Lanka’s economic revival strategies to identify potential avenues for partnership and knowledge sharing.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Nepal’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Dr. Purna Nepali; Nepal Chamber of Commerce President Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal; and NCE President Indra Kaushal Rajapaksa. The agreement was signed by NCC Vice President and International Committee Chair Arjun Prasad Sharma and NCE Secretary General Shiham Marikar.
