Maldives Launches First Phase of National Single Window

3 September 2024

Maldives Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef launched Tradian on 3 September 2024 at Jen Hotel in Malé, Maldives. Tradian, the first phase of Maldives's National Single Window project, is a platform that links business owners with government service agencies.

Tradian brings different government ministries and line agencies under one portal. It aims to make the country more business and investor friendly. The platform is a one-stop shop where business owners in Maldives can electronically submit import, export, and transit documents.

The Maldives National project is supported by the Asian Development Bank and implemented by the Maldives Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Tradenet Maldives Corporation, and related agencies.
