PTC India Limited Starts Power Supply from Nikachhu Hydroelectric Project

PTC India Limited has commenced power supply from Bhutan’s Nikachhu Hydropower Project. The electricity supply will be imported from Bhutan to Assam under the Long Term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) executed in 2014.

The power supply will help meet Assam’s growing energy demands, especially during peak hours.
