Pristine Logistics & Infraprojects of India, a rail terminal operator, has entered a joint venture with Summit Alliance Port of Bangladesh, which handles over 25% of export cargo and 15% of import cargo of Bangladesh’s containerized volume.

The joint venture aims to enhance the logistics infrastructure in Bangladesh and facilitate the landside needs of exporters and importers by providing long-haul rail services from Indian locations to the border and interiors of Bangladesh, noted a report.

The partnership will also offer warehousing, consolidation, labeling and packaging, palletisation, import and export bonding, multimodal transport options of rail and road, empty storage, container repair, first and last mile distribution, and connectivity to gateway ports for Bangladesh’s exporters and importers.
