The Trade Facilitation and Transport Working Group of the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Program agreed on a list of priority projects and technical assistance at a Meeting in Bangkok, Thailand attended by government officials from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Nepal. Mr. Sultan Hafeez Rahman, Director General of Asian Development Bank's South Asia Regional Department, highlighted the importance of improving connectivity and facilitating the flow of goods and services in the SASEC region.
