The meeting for the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Economic Corridor Development Forum will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on 28 September 2026. The meeting will discuss the SASEC Strategy 2035 for Economic Corridor Development Operational Priority, the experience of the Asian Development Bank in implementing economic corridor development in Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka, and prospects for strengthening the building blocks of economic corridor development and regional cooperation in the SASEC subregion. Officials from the SASEC countries are expected to attend the meeting.
