SASEC Bangladesh-India Electrical Grid Interconnection Project: Additional Financing

This additional financing will cover cost overruns from a funding gap in the SASEC Bangladesh-India Electrical Grid Interconnection Project, approved in 2010. The project contributes to efforts to establish cross-border interconnection between the western electrical grid of Bangladesh and the eastern electrical grid of India, and facilitates the exchange of electricity between the two countries.
