India to Export Rice to Bangladesh through Essar Shipping

India will export 150,000 tonnes of rice to Bangladesh as agreed in the recent bilateral trade agreement signed by Bangladesh and India. Essar Shipping, India's second largest private sector shipping company, has been contracted to ship the rice. The shipping company will use two of its handy-size vessels Tvisha and Tuhina weighing 13,000 deadweight tonnage.
