Bangladesh-India Electrical Grid Interconnection Project

This technical assistance will help optimize utilization of power generation capacity in South Asia through successful operation of a long term power transmission link between Bangladesh and India. This stand-alone small-scale capacity development technical assistance will also advise Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) on cross-border power purchase contracts and build capacity of DPDB staff in power procurement from India.
