Regional: SASEC Tourism Development Project

This project preparatory technical assistance designed and assessed the feasibility of tourism-related infrastructure and facilities in selected multi-country circuits based on the subregional Tourism Development Program. It developed product-specific programs on the themes of “Buddhist circuits” and “ecotourism”. This enhanced tourism, a priority SASEC sector, in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka.
