Bangladesh: Subregional Transport Project Preparatory Facility
This technical assistance loan will provide a facility to prepare a series of regional cooperation and integration transport projects in roads and railways. The facility will ensure project implementation readiness by providing funding for feasibility studies, detailed design preparation, procurement assistance, and safeguard implementation. The focus will be on priority transport corridors identified in the SAARC Regional Multimodal Transport Study, as well as targeting transport corridors linking with BIMSTEC countries.
